We’re thrilled to welcome Jason Foo as Chief Design Officer at TrueRights. Jason joins us at a critical moment as we scale our platform and expand the tools we’re building to help talent and brands navigate the complex world of content licensing, usage rights, and generative AI. With over a decade of leadership in design and product innovation, Jason brings a rare blend of strategic vision and hands-on design expertise; exactly what’s needed as we reimagine the infrastructure of the creator economy.
Jason’s career has spanned leadership roles at some of the world’s most forward-thinking companies. Most recently, he led design at Mindvalley, where he helped launch their app in every Apple retail store worldwide and a B2B platform showcased on stage with Microsoft. Before that, he was Director of Experience Design at Hotjar, a key driver of the company’s new product vision, and Design Director at EF Education First, where he led award-winning innovations in edtech. Whether building teams from scratch or delivering large-scale product rebrands, Jason has consistently pushed the boundaries of what design can do.
At TrueRights, Jason will lead the design of our proprietary platform, which empowers talent and brands to track, license, and control how content is used, especially in the context of AI-generated media and paid social amplification. Our goal is to build intuitive, scalable tools that work for creatives, talent managers, and brands alike. From smart usage rights tracking to AI licensing frameworks, Jason will be instrumental in ensuring our user experience is not only powerful but also elegant and human-centered.
Jason’s passion for ethical design, innovation, and creating meaningful products aligns perfectly with our mission. We’re excited to have him on board as we continue building the trusted foundation for rights in the age of AI.
